Since 1968, Paul has been working with some of the biggest developers in Polynesia. He has worked on projects in Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea, Fiji, and Hawaii.
He worked closely with his uncle Donn Beach, a.k.a. Don the Beachcomber, Bob Van Dorpe, and Herb Kane. These three men designed and built iconic Polynesian properties around the islands, always stressing the history and culture of the area where they were, and including the local people in their projects. They made sure their work drew from the historical crafts and traditions.
